Years ago (a REALLY long time ago), I created a series of people and object images where I purposely skewed the exposure way up. I discovered it by accident, of course. I found myself drawn to the effect and others seemed to find it interesting, too. Years later, I encountered one of these images displayed prominently in the home of a sophisticated art collector. He told me it was one of his favorite photographs of all time. Time and the quest to create perfectly exposed, color rich, images intervened. Recently, I've started playing around with the idea again. I've found that shooting portraits in this manner doesn't really work well. But, using a variety of processes in Lightroom and OnOne Perfect Effects gave me what I was looking for. What do you think?
