I've been working on a floral project for almost 10 years now...on and off. Well...mostly off, to be honest. However, recently I've been inspired by some other flower images I've seen. I spent some time over the holidays experimenting with different processes. Recently, I acquired some flowers from a local (St. Louis Park, MN) flower shop and spent some time in the studio photographing them. Let me know what you think!
Each image is composed of between 50 and 55 photos taken at approximately 3mm intervals to capture the maximum Depth of Field. They were processed through Helicon Focus software. A Manfrotto 450 slider was used with a Canon 100mm Macro lens mounted on the Canon 5DMIII.
